After 3 years of waiting, the much anticipated festival in the town of Santo Tomas – The Sabuaga Festival has finally resumed. Derived from the combined kapampangan words “sabuag” and “sampaga” which means to shower flowers. Held every Easter Sunday, participants of barangays: Sto Rosario, San Matias, Moras Dela Paz, Poblacion, San Bartolome, San Vicente, Sto Niño and LGU Sto Tomas Team paraded their colorful costumes as they dance along the streets of the casket capital of the Philippines.
